Maintain Group / Part Attributes(CB14)

 
Function
Maintains Attributes and Status for a part. The status defines the state of the Part. The attributes are the specification for a Part  based on material category e.g Part family. This can be used for Product Life Management Cycle.
 
 
How To Use
 
Query Criteria
Selection of Part to Maintain the attributes can be carried out based on Status, Part and attribute.

On entering the material category , the attributes selection is displayed. Enter the selection and click OK to query the parts for this selection. This will display the Parts along with the Attribute values as shown below. The Heading of attributes will change depending on the Material Category to which the Part is assigned .

Click On Status to maintain status of the part as per Product Life management and Click on Attribute to Maintain the Specification using the Attributes.
 
 
Status
This will display the chronological order in which status of the Part has been modified.

Click on Delete , Modify or Add button to invoke respective actions
 
 
Status - Add
Add  the new status of the part as shown below

Enter New status and its details and click on Ok to add the New status.
 
 
Status - Modify
Modify the Details of Status of the part as shown below

After changing the Details click on OK to save the changes.
 
 
Status - Delete
Delete the status of the part as shown below

click on OK to Delete the Status.
 
 
Attribute
This will display the List of attributes configured for the Part

Click on OK to view the Current values of attributes as shown below

Click on Modify to change the Current Values of Attributes and Back to return to the Part display .
 
 
Attribute Modify
Modify the Value of the Selected Attribute

Enter the New values of the Attribute and Click on Ok to Save the Changes.
 
 
Pre-Requisites
The valid Status are registered using CB02.
The Attributes are maintained  against  Material category using CB03.
 
 
Notes
Only Up  to 8 Attributes can be specified  for a  part  for a  Material Category.
